The Laundry, Distribution and Food Service Joint Board is comprised of 8,500 members who are the pillars of our society. Our members feed public school children, wash hospital linens, handle trash, and distribute and deliver high end merchandise. We are a diverse union that represents members through a wide range of industries and sectors. Our members are committed to winning for working families.
We are committed to fighting and winning for members at the negotiation table and to improve the lives of working people and communities. Our members understand that to win for working families, we must Organize, Mobilize, and hold politicians Accountable. That is why our union is committed to win the "Fight for $15." We are also committed to passing comprehensive immigration reform that allows all immigrant workers to live and work without fear. We strive for a just society.
