Baltimore Starbucks workers announce plans to unionize

Employees of the Starbucks at 1209 N. Charles St., in Midtown-Belvedere, announced their plans to organize last week. In a letter signed by 15 workers and shared on Twitter Jan. 15, they wrote that they "make Starbucks products for less than living wages and receive none of the profit, all the while being offered benefits that in no way equal our efforts."
